ATV Field DayYouth ClassesJoin us for an exciting and educational Youth ATV Field Day sponsored by Carlton County Riders! This hands-on event is designed for youth ages 10–15 who have successfully completed the Minnesota DNR Online ATV Safety Course. Participants will practice essential ATV riding skills in a controlled, supervised environment. Certified instructors will cover topics like safe riding techniques, basic maintenance, environmental awareness, and trail etiquette. This field day is the final step to earn your Minnesota ATV Safety Certificate. All students must have completed the online safety course at https://www.atvcourse.com/usa/minnesota. Please print out your certificate of completion and bring it with. When: Saturday October 10th Time: 9-1 Where: Moose Horn Gun and Rod Club Cost: the field day is free, but you must pay to take the online course portion. Drone ClubYouth ClassesDrone Club is back!!! Join us for a one-week Drone Club, with separate sessions for grades 4–8. Throughout the week, participants will take on exciting drone challenges such as obstacle courses, precision landings, and team relays. These hands-on activities build coordination, problem-solving skills, and teamwork while introducing the fundamentals of drone flight. We have three registration options: I Have a Drone – $55: For students who participated last time and already own a drone. Buy a Drone – $100: For students who are new and would like to purchase and keep their own drone. School Drone – $55: Five school-owned drones will be available per session for students to use. Please note: No outside drones will be allowed, as they interfere with one another during flight. When: October 26th-30th Time: After school-4:30pm Where: Elementary Cafeteria Grades 4th-8th 7th and 8th graders should walk down after school lets out. Holiday Play TryoutsYouth ClassesThe Holiday Play is Coming! ?✨ The holiday season is just around the corner, and it's almost time for our annual Holiday Play! This year's production will be directed by Greg Campbell, and we can't wait to see another fantastic show come to life on stage. The Holiday Play is open to students in grades 3–12, and we encourage anyone who loves acting and being part of a great production to audition. When: October 26th Time: After school-4:30 Where: High School Auditorium Practices will be as follows from after school-5:30 Elementary only: Mondays High School only: Tuesdays Combination practice: Thursdays Students should bring a snacks and a water bottle. Hunters Safety Interest ListYouth ClassesHunter Safety Interested in learning the skills and knowledge needed to become a safe and responsible hunter? Our Hunter Safety course covers essential topics including firearm safety, hunting ethics, wildlife conservation, and outdoor responsibility. Please note: Registration at this time is for our interest list only. By signing up, you’ll be contacted if and when a class becomes available. Spaces are limited, and priority will be given in the order of interest list registration. Participants must be 12+, have a parent present during class and have successfully completed the on-line class. Maple Bend Farms TripYouth ClassesField Trip to Maple Bend Farms Celebrate the season with a fall adventure to Maple Bend Farms! Students will enjoy a fun-filled day at the pumpkin patch with classic autumn activities including a hay ride, corn maze, and more. It’s the perfect way to soak up the crisp fall air and make lasting memories with friends. Each student will leave with a small pumpkin to take home as a souvenir of the day! Students will be bussed to and from the farm from Bomber Club. STEM ClubYouth ClassesSTEM Explorers with Mrs. Ally (Grades 4–6) Calling all curious minds! Join Mrs. Ally for an exciting hands-on STEM adventure designed just for 4th–6th grade students. Students will meet weekly to explore introductory STEM through fun, interactive lessons and experiments. From food science and baking to 3D printing and robotics, students will build problem-solving skills, creativity, and confidence while learning by doing. Snowmobile SafteyYouth ClassesSnowmobile Safety Field Day Get ready to put your snowmobile safety knowledge into action! This hands-on field day is the required in-person component of the Minnesota Snowmobile Safety Certification. Students will practice safe riding techniques, review important safety skills, and complete the field exercises needed for certification. Important Information: Students must complete the online Snowmobile Safety Course before attending the field day and bring proof of completion. A parent or guardian is required to attend registration/check-in at the beginning of class. After registration is complete, parents are welcome to leave and return at the designated pick-up time. Participants should dress appropriately for the weather, as portions of the class will be held outdoors. Completion of both the online course and this field day is required to earn Minnesota Snowmobile Safety Certification.
